Nelson, Paul
LMHC
Paul Nelson (LMHC) is a nationally recognized leader in Male Sexual Health. He is a Sex Educator and licensed Sex Therapist. His work lies in bridging the gap between the medical world and sexuality world. His time with MAZE patients focuses on creating a foundation of practical understanding of sex, sexual function, and sexuality and how it integrates with medical treatment.
As a prostate cancer survivor, Paul discovered there was almost no information for men with ED that was not a commercial. In 2008 he launched FrankTalk.org, which quickly became the largest online community for men with Erectile Dysfunction. Eventually a group of men formed the Erectile Dysfunction Foundation. Paul serves as its president. The Journal of Sexual Medicine has published an analysis of the FrankTalk online discussion board regarding penile implants
Paul has been featured on ABC News, the BBC, the New York Times, South China Press, the London Guardian and the Chicago Tribune. His work appears in the Prostate Cancer Research Institute, Prostatepedia, and many others. Paul is also a Peer Review Panelist on Cancer Research for the Department of Defense.
