Dr. Rena D. Malik is Founder and President of Rena Malik, MD, and on staff at the Long Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She completed medical school at NYU School of Medicine, followed by urologic residency training at the University of Chicago and fellowship at the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in reconstructive urology, sexual medicine, hormone management, and pelvic pain.

She is an online content editor for the Journal of Urology and Urology Practice journals She served as the spokesperson for bladder health month for the AUA Radio Media tour in 2019 and has been on SiriusXM Doctor Radio Men’s Health Show and several podcasts, including the Huberman Lab, Diary of a CEO and Mel Robbins Podcasts. Dr. Malik is regularly featured by media outlets, including Insider, Men’s Health, Self, Scientific American, Bustle, and US News & World Report. She has an active YouTube Channel providing urologic education with over 2 million subscribers and 300 million views. She is passionate about dispelling medical misinformation.

Due to her clinical excellence, she was awarded Top Doctor between 2019 and 2022 by Baltimore Magazine for Urology and Urogynecology and the AUA Young Urologist of the Year award in 2023. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
